I heard people talking about recession or slow down due to economic crisis in USA, the question is that how it is affecting recruitment business. i believe that the organization who have been on diversified line or moreover not dependent on one particular client for their business would be able to manage successfuly. as a matter of fact that recruitment firms have mushrooming every corner but the few make it to the client's preferred vendor list it is because they have been into understanding the business well. also at this point of time when companies are compacting their vendor list so how a consultant is able to manage for his business?
Those who have been able to get through the tough times would be able to survive as long as they are able to spread their revenue around top 10 clients rather than top 3 ones!.

You are absolutely right at this point of time companies need to stick to basics rather than doing innovation. Companies who are not dependent on single or i should say particular client list will be successful so its really important and a lesson for others to diversify and should expand clientele.
