No fair attitude for fair gender

History does not repeat itself is a self-evident maxim which most people tend to accept without demur. But now we are witness to seeing history being repeated every year in Parliament in the matter of hypocrisy of all political parties in the context of women's reservation bill.

Every political party for the last decade has been assuring its support to the Bill which disarms women activists. And then a farce rather than a tragedy is played out by so-called radical politicians, jumping into the well of the House, tearing copies of the Bill and making impossible for proceedings to continue - the House gets adjourned, the Bill is thrown into the dustbin till it is revived in subsequent years with the same result. It is time this mockery stopped, considering that the Congress, the BJP and Left parties proclaim that they are for the Bill in the present form, and really want it to become a law.

Its a real pity where political umbrella is held by female drivers, people are still doubting on their capabilities. when it was announced that there will be no dilution regarding the acquisition of seats by women, many of known leaders opposed it strongly including Sharad pawar threatening to consume poison and Mulayam saying the same as conspiracy to dilute the regional parties' presence. we have reservation for various classes like SC, ST, OBC and many others specified by state's guidelines then why to oppose the women to come in power. In the matter of the fight against injustice and discrimination, women as a class should not be weakened by seeking to bifurcate them on caste lines. Reservation for women would check the muddy politics that the men folk have brought about. It would bring social consciousness to political life. It will also help in brushing the criminal-politician nexus - the real danger to our democracy.

Women are not asking for grace and charity. Their contribution to the cause of nation-building exceeds that of men. An International Labour Organisation study shows that "while women represent 50 percent of the world adult population and a third of the official labour force, they perform nearly two-third of all working hours, receive a tenth of world income and own less than one percent of world property." Therefore, reservation for women is not a bounty but only an honest recognition of their contribution to social development.

Too many players eroding Indian democracy??

Too many cook spoil the broth, truly said: well does the same apply to our electioneering process? while the polling activity is on full swing across the nation the question arises are we able to maintain the democracy through cohesive forces inspite of the political fragmentation?
India, where after every 100 kms, dialect changes, need a centralized power combined or moreover synerized of all regional powers. long gone the days where monolithic congress or BJP were virtually unchallenged brands in india, emergence of various regional parties has diminished the "Dominating effect".
The fungal growth of these parties across the lines has supersceded the common mass's interest. the fear is that the proliferation of small parties with regional or personal agendas could spell disaster for india's national aspirations & goals in term of development & social equity.
Is it the a sign of healthy diversity or disastrous divisiveness? do our political system well adresses the nation's needs or they are busy doing homework for self development or rather preparing the list of positioning elements for next elections!!
Moreover our system does not lay out any specification framework regarding qualifications & other personal attributes for these nation's drivers. unlike corporates where everything you desire requires you to deserve it first on the basis of stringent eduactional & other factors, these political leaders remain left with list of their forthcoming plans for what they can do after being elected.. i mean if you don't get any job better to go for politics as it does not require you to put in efforts to derive any B.Tech / MBA degree.
Indian politics is another synonym for "Identity politics"a politics of give-and-take, of promises made, sometimes material – sometimes pertaining to jobs and power. But higher principles are entirely absent from such politics. And yet, our politicians couch their rhetoric in the language of principles, fooling only the wilfully self-delusional.

We all know that the whole political system is hosted with parasites like crime, corruption they we again vote the same people & expect them to do something different this time??

Need someone to make u complete???????

For past few days, i have been facing colliding thoughts that do i really need someone to make me complete, i believe to some extent at some point, yes we need someone to share. we all have purpose to live, making each other's life less difficult, isn't? so sharing your life with someone eases you a lot.... but what if you go ahead on that line & that person is so self-confined that it really invades you deeply....
I think you should be complete prior inviting somebody in ur life as nobody fills a void for you, as there will be times when you are alone & you have to get started yourself..... "EVERYTHING DIES ALONE"
Inter-dependence or moreover that symbiotic relationship is nice to have but it should not be the only thing for survival & sustainance. it is really hard to be solitary as human nature is not modelled for the same...... that why we say that man is a social animal but at the deep of my heart i feel that we need to be happy with self, im learning this.....
But how long, Need is such a strong word. Having someone in your life because you want to share your life experiences together . I don't think having someone really completes you, it may be more fulfilling as opposed to being alone for some.
